Insubria Classic Rally 2023 presented at Montecarlo Historique Rally Start in Turin

Insubria Classic Rally is looking to the future and is planning the 2023 edition scheduled for 15 and 16 December. The race was presented in Turin to all 132 crews on the occasion of the Italian start of the prestigious 25^th Rallye Montecarlo Historique.

TURIN, Friday 27 January 2023 - Attractive news are being studied to create the second edition of Insubria Classic Rally, the average regularity race which will take place on 15 and 16 December 2023 between Como and Varese, in amazing winter conditions of snow and verglass- on pre-alpine roads which have been the backdrop for epic challenges since the 70's.

CLASSIC PADDOCK has just archived the first edition and is already organizing and planning the second, optimizing with routes in order to increase the spectacular stages and the fun of the crews driving over 100 km timed trial, always under the aegis of ACI Sport and ACI Storico and the support of the Automobile Club Como and Varese.

INSUBRIA CLASSIC RALLY was presented in Turin to all 132 crews at the start of the 25^th Rally Monte-Carlo Historique (26 January – 1 February 2023). It was nice to wish a "good luck" to everyone and a warm hug to those crews who trained at the Insubria Classic Rally to better face the difficult Monegasque race: from Gabriele Seno (Opel Kadett GT/E) to Alessandro Ceffoli (Lancia Beta Montecarlo), from Gianmario Fontanella (Fiat 128 rally) to the winner Maurizio Maurizio (Volkswagen GTI), Nessi/Nessi (Mini Cooper S) e Angelo Seneci (Lancia Fulvia 1300S) in addition to our expert technical consultant Francesco Giammarino, former European champion. The Italian start in Turin was a good opportunity to dialogue and invite Italian and foreign crews to the Insubria Classic Rally 2023.

At the end of the 1^st INSUBRIA CLASSIC RALLY, enthusiastic opinion and congratulations were come from the competitors, first ambassadors so that the 2023 edition could be more successful. Congratulations that the organizers share with the top management of ACI COMO and ACI VARESE, with sports and technical commissioners and race officials. An approval that involves the Provinces of Como and Varese, the Municipalities (97 in total) of the Insubria area that have done their big work to close the roads as well as the Local Police and Civil Protection.
